Official says Gazprom Neft can sell brownfields in polar Urals
MOSCOW, Jul 23 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Gazprom Neft can sell brownfields of the Muravlenkovskaya group in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Monday, confirming a media report.
“The company works on optimization of the upstream asset portfolio on a regular basis in order to raise efficiency of its activities. In the framework of these efforts, we have identified several assets in the category of brownfields, including Sredne-Iturskoye, which have a limited potential of output rise,” the spokesperson said.
The company can retain the fields if finds this convenient, the official said.
